All accounts are staying strong this month. You may notice that my Prudential 401k account is gone. Don’t worry – I didn’t cash it out! My current employer switched the plan over to Fidelity last month. I’m able to keep investments the same with 60% in a Vanguard index fund, 20% in international stocks, and 20% in bonds. That makes it my most conservatively invested retirement account, but also the one with the smallest balance.
And as of Dec 7th, I will be returning to my former employer of eight years. That 401k will also be with Fidelity and I’ll need to decide whether this one stays put or moves over to my IRA.
